This book (as its title indicates) is an introduction to the study of the Law of Constitution. It does not
pretend to be a complete comprehensive commentary but it deals with all important aspects like
preamble, fundamental rights, executive, judiciary & Legislature etc. in such a way, which will suit
the necessity of first time readers and aspirants of different competitive examinations. In
furtherance of this object, we have tried our best to present the simplest version of Constitution
which can be comprehended by common people as well as aspirants of various competitive
    examinations.
A remarkable trait of this book, apart from the brevity & clarity is its presentation in form of
separate points for each idea. Many factual and conceptual information have been presented in the
form of tables, charts & diagrams to make it easily understandable. It is common sense presentation
of Constitution but supported by suitable information, logic & examples to make it easily
comprehensible. Whether it stands to the scrutiny of above aspiration is left to the readers for their
    comment & criticism.
Apart from above things, I would like to say that the Constitution expects our Country to be
better citizen and to be more dutiful apart from Government performing its task of nation building &
society developing. Let us hope that after reading this text in common sense language, we will
appreciate the spirit of Constitution in its real spirit and live up to that.
